Technology
What is “bath-in-bath”?
The Latvian company Vanna vannā LTD, creator of the “bath-in-bath” technology, is the official partner of Vanniekspert OÜ. Renovating this way lasts up to 10 times longer than painting or re-enamelling — liquid coatings tend to flake and wear within a short time.
The baths are made from a solid 6 mm acrylic sheet, exactly like all new acrylic baths, and reinforced further with fibreglass. The foam layer added between the old and new bath provides the heat-retaining effect.

Instructions
Measuring and photographing your old bath
From your photos we determine the bath type and whether extra work is needed. We need three specific photos and three measurements.
The whole bath from the side
Step back a couple of metres and photograph the bath in full from the side, so the entire length is visible. A close-up of one corner is not enough.
From above and the sewer
Take a second photo looking straight down into the bath, and a third of the sewer connection and drain underneath it.
Measure length, width and depth
Measure the length and width from outer edge to outer edge, and the depth from the bottom to the top edge, as shown in the drawing below.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
If you cannot find your answer, call or write — we are happy to help.
How much does bath installation cost?
Bath installation costs €370. That includes the new bath liner, all working materials, and transport within Tallinn. Additional services (such as a front panel or drain replacement) are always agreed in advance.
I live outside Tallinn. How much is transport?
We install baths throughout Estonia. Transport is free in Tallinn and the surrounding area; elsewhere a transport fee applies. Just ask us for the exact transport price — we will get straight back to you.
How quickly do you reply, and when can the bath be fitted?
Once you send the measurements and photos we reply within 1–2 days, confirm the bath type and agree on a suitable installation time. In most cases we can fit the bath within a few days.
How long after fitting can the bath be used?
After fitting, the technician fills the bath with water and it must stand for 12 hours while the adhesive cures. After that the bath is ready to use.
Which photos do you need?
We need three photos in order to identify the bath type and any extra work:
- the whole bath from the side, taken a couple of metres back so the full length is visible;
- the bath seen from directly above;
- the sewer connection and drain underneath the bath.
Installation creates some waste. Do I have to dispose of it?
Yes, fitting a new bath produces a small bag of waste, and disposing of it is the customer’s responsibility.
What extra work might come up before or during installation?
Depending on the condition of the old bath, the following may be needed:
- cutting the bath front wall and fitting a hatch for sewer access;
- replacing the sewer pipe or the drain;
- cleaning the tiles to prepare the surface.
Does a new bath fit every old bath?
Bath-in-bath fits most standard cast-iron and steel baths. That is exactly why we ask for measurements and photos — we confirm compatibility before any work begins.
Ready to order your new bath?
Send us the measurements and three photos — we reply within 1–2 days and book your installation.
